Araweelo News Network.

Washington (ANN)- The United States has issued a new statement on Ethiopia, and the State Department continues to send messages to its citizens still in the war-torn country.

“If you have difficulty securing a flight or need assistance to return to the U.S., please contact the Embassy. The Embassy can also provide a repatriation loan for U.S. citizens who cannot afford at this time to purchase a commercial ticket to the U.S.” said as new message from the US Embassy in Addis Ababa on Saturday.

Many countries are still evacuating their citizens in Ethiopia, who are being urged to leave before they are trapped there.

Meanwhile, China says the Ethiopian government is capable of managing its conflict in Tigray.

Beijing, says Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi during his last visit to Ethiopia.

The Chinese government, meanwhile, has made a clear commitment to help the Ethiopian government, which he says, aims to strengthen ties.

If it is one thing I respect China, it is the fact that they are in Africa for business. They think about their business and stay away from politics.

China is one of several countries that have openly sided with the Ethiopian federal government led by Abiy Ahmed, with military and financial support since the start of the Tigray conflict in November 2020.

The current visit of the Chinese Foreign Minister to Addis Ababa appeared to be part of the military and financial support.
