Warsaw (ANN)-Polish President Andrzej Duda said that his country is ready to send Leopard tanks to Ukraine, responding to Kyiv’s request.
The Polish government will need permission from Berlin to send German-made tanks to Ukraine, as their delivery to Ukraine requires a re-export permit from the country of origin.
The Ukrainian forces are constantly under attack from Russian forces and mercenaries around the cities of Soledar and Bakhmut.
Russia’s Wagner Group said on Thursday it had captured the strategic mineral-rich town of Soledar in eastern Ukraine.
