Document for the Turkey-Somalia Oil Agreement
Hargeisa (ANN)- The Turkish government has released the oil deal it signed with the Federal Government of Somalia, the first details to emerge from the highly anticipated agreement between Somalia and Turkey.
The deal shows that Turkey has unfairly benefited from the powerless government in Somalia, with Turkey owning 90% of the oil, while the Somali government owns 5%.

There are four types of agreements in the field of natural resources and oil, each of which has its own impact. For example, the type (Concision Royalty/Tax) that has been banned worldwide since 1960 is a type of agreement that benefits the council and not the country benefiting from its resources. The agreement between Turkey and Somalia is like this, which has been banned worldwide.
