The statement of the Chairman of the Electoral Commission  (NEC) seems to be a response to unconfirmed reports that have been circulating for the past few hours, which said that it is possible to postpone the election for a short period of time due to preparatory reasons. However, the statement he made today at the forum where the members of the ethics committee were sworn in, dispels the news that the elections may be postponed.
