Hargeisa (ANN) – The #government of #Somaliland has welcomed the decision by the United States to withdraw its troops from Somalia, and sends a strong message to the Horn of Africa region governments to ensure security in their countries.
This is stated in a statement issued today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Somaliland dated 5 December 2020, a copy of which has reached to Araweelo News Network.
Somaliland says it has enjoyed independence for the last three decades of democratic governance, the rule of law, the security forces and judiciary.
