#Somaliland,Hargeisa,(ANN)- The President of #Somaliland, HE Muse Bihi Abdi has today accepted the credentials of the UAE Ambassador to Somaliland, HE Abdulla Alnaqbi.

The new envoy to the UAE, presented the President of Somaliland with credentials and greetings from top officials of the United Arab Emirates and thanked the President for his valuable welcome.

President Bihi told the UAE Representative, Ambassador Abdulla Alnaqbi that he has arrived in a country and people who love brotherhood and cooperation for development and cooperation between the two peoples and the two governments of the Republic of Somaliland and the United Arab Emirates.

The President of Somaliland also thanked the United Arab Emirates for strengthening the long-standing relationship between the two countries and the investment they have made in Somaliland, and for being the first country to invest heavily in the country.

President Bihi said that this will further strengthen the unity and cooperation between Somaliland and the UAE.

Meanwhile, the UAE has made the largest investment in the international port of Berbera, costing nearly half a million dollars, and has also implemented health and other social assistance projects in Somaliland cities.
