Hargeisa (ANN)-The President of Somaliland, Muse Bihi Abdi, has expressed his concern over the songs of the Geska group, which were much talked about this week, and spread in the community, as the group sang songs reflecting criticisms of his leadership during his tenure.

The group’s songs are supporting the opposition party WADDINI and criticizing the KUMIYE party, which is expected to face a tough challenge in the presidential race weeks after the presidential elections and the competition of organizations and parties scheduled for 13 November 2024.

Prisedent Bihi, also talking about the issues of the elections and the Egyptian government’s policy towards Somalia.

“Egypt sending its troops to Somalia is not a humanitarian issue, but a political issue. It would have done something about Gaza, if had worked in Egypt as a humanitarian”. We are warning the Egyptian government to take action troops to send Somalia, he added.

President Bihi also spoke about the Somaliland policy of President Hassan Sheikh towards to Somaliland and the points he said that the Somaliland Constitution is shown as the reason behind it.

The president of Somaliland spoke about these issues and others when he attended an event held in Hargeisa on Thursday for hundreds of young people who have completed studying the Constitution of the Republic of Somaliland.
