Hargeisa (ANN)- Somaliland Foreign Minister Abdirahman Dahir Adan spoke about the Somaliland government’s position on the issue of Palestinians from Gaza, who are being sought to be relocated to Somaliland and several countries in the Horn of Africa that are being evacuated to the people of Gaza.

Although the news regarding the refugees being taken from Gaza to these countries is not reliable, and the story does’t rely on strong sources.

However, Somaliland Foreign Minister Abdirahman Dahir told Israeli-back broadcasting KAN radio station on Wednesday morning say that no one discussed with the matter, But he said that if the countries concerned contact him on this issue, it would be better to establish diplomatic relations, as Somaliland is seeking recognition from the world.

On March 14, the Associated Press reported that US and Israeli officials had reached out to officials of three East African governments to discuss the potential transfer of displaced Gazan Palestinians to their territories.

Meanwhile, Somaliland President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi(Cirro) asked when he attended the International Conference in the UAE last month, said anyone did not talk to the Palestinian refugee US plans in from Gaza to move Somaliland.

Several international and local media outlets have published the story of Gazans being relocated to several countries in the Horn of Africa.
