#Somaliland find the first two cases of Covid-19

Hargeysa(ANN)-The Somaliland government has officially announced the first cases of Coronaviris in the country.


Somaliland’s Minister of Health, Omar Ali Abdullahi and members of the National Health and Prevention Committee of COVID-19, who spoke to the media recently, said in response to a study conducted by two Chinese nationals. while another British national was found COVID19
.

The two men are said to be in the cities of Berbera and Burco.
“On 26 March, we found out the two men were in a state of health test on Friday 27 March, and found that they had COVID-19, but to confirm we had 28 March, again at a Kenyan laboratory wich ” The World Health Organization, (WHO) recognizes laboratory in Nairobi we send Bloods and the fluids of two people and was found COVID19. said the Somaliland’s Minister of Health, Omar Ali Abdullahi

“Last night we received the answer, and we agreed on the laboratory we made and the laboratory in Kenya.” so I assure you that today 31 March 2020, Somaliland has two cases. said Somaliland’s Minister of Health, Omar Ali Abdullahi, to the media.

He said health and administrative authorities in the two regions were ordered to investigate the two people they met while in the country, and share their findings with the media.


The Somaliland Minister of Health said that the two men are in good condition and are being treated in medical facilities under the supervision of staff in both Burco and Berbera Health.


On the other hand, Omar Ali Abdullahi, the Minister of Health, recommended to the public to comply with the instructions of the National to fight and Preparedness Committee (COVID-19), and that the public follow the recommendations.


In these two cases, they are the first to be identified in Somaliland, although no studies have been conducted and many people have come to the border in Somaliland, with less than twenty people unaccompanied.
