Somaliland: Counting the results of the votes and the National Electrol Commission spoke about the results

Hargeisa (ANN)-The Somaliland National Electrol Commission has presented the complete vote counting system and the process to follow the rules and regulations of the election regulators.
The chairman of the Electoral Commission, Muse Haji Yusif, spoke about the process and approval of the election results, from the district level to the national level.

The NEC chairman said the multi-level verification system was designed to ensure the integrity of the election.

Local election offices serve as the starting point for collecting results and resolving disputes, following the provisions of the Electoral Law Articles 134-135.
The framework places regional election centers as the center of intermediate verification, where further verification is done at the district level. according to the NEC Chairman.

He said that these Centers, which operate under Articles 136-137, are authorized by law to examine the concerns before submitting the results to the national centers at the national level. checkingthe result, according to Articles 138-146.counting process This final stage involves a thorough examination of data from all regions before the official results are announced.

NEC chairman Muse Hassan Yusuf also pointed to the organization’s strong ability to resolve disputes in a timely manner.

The process order he said is a reflection of the commitment of the NEC Committee to maintain the credibility of the election through verifiable processes and efficient operations.

Also, he said that the   Framework is a clear indication of Somaliland’s commitment to strengthen its democratic process through electoral management and result verification procedures
