Erigavo(ANN)- The Somaliland government of President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Cirro) has succeeded in the plan to nationalize the Civilian Forces in eastern Somaliland.

The Vice-President of Somaliland, Mohamed Ali Aw Abdi, Minister of Defense, Republic of Somaliland together with members of the Government Ministers, Military Commanderstraditional leaders and members of other national councils, were in the last few days in the city of Ergaabo, the capital of Sanaag region.

A very valuable event was held to nationalize units of the SSB and G36 military forces, who were in the area and were part of the defense of the country and the support of the Somaliland National Forces.

The nationalized civil defense forces have handed over their vehicles and weapons to the Somaliland National Forces and sent them to the planned training camps in the region. Hundreds of SSB and G36 troops were seen being taken to the training camps, who were told that from now on they will be the National Forces and they will have the rights and duties of the Somaliland National Forces. The vehicles they were driving were handed over to the  Somaliland National Forces in the area.

President Abdirahman Irro, has promised for a long time in his political campaign that when he wins the presidency of the country, all the civil forces of the local communities in the country will be one of the most important forces of this nation.

According to Presidential Spokesman Hussein Deyr, the occasion once more is a testament of the WADDANI administration government dubbed “togetherness and Action” fulfilling the promises and pledges they had given the populaces during the campaigns in its first 100 days.
