Addis Ababa (ANN)- Ethiopia and Israel discussed strengthening relations between the two countries, with historical issues of mutual interest discussed during a meeting held on Tuesday in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa.

However, Israel and Ethiopia had relations during ancient times when the legendary Queen of Sheba arrived in Jerusalem as an official guest of King Solomon’s court. While Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Ethiopia in 2017, Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed had visited Israel in 2019.
