Djibouti (ANN)- The government of Djibouti has clearly stated that it has ended the conflict between Ethiopia and Somalia, and the solution to the issue is on the table of President Ismail Omar Guelle.

Djibouti’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Mohamud Ali Yusuf, said this in an interview with BBC-Afrique on August 30, 2024.

In this regard, he said that they have removed the dispute that resulted from the MoU between Somaliland and Ethiopia signed in Addis Ababa on January 1, 2024.
The Republic of Djibouti has a miraculous solution to the problem, he said, to eliminate the conflict that is worsening insecurity and instability in the Horn of Africa, which he said is the conflict between Ethiopia and Somalia regarding access to the Gulf of Aden the red sea.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Djibouti, said that they will give Ethiopia the Port of Tadjourah, which is 100 km from the common border with Ethiopia, so that the issue of conflict can be removed.
