Bandit Gangs Killed a Somali shopkeeper in South Africa

Johannesburg (ANN)-Osmaan Maadeey Mohamed is from Somalia he was a owner shop in Rawsonville township in North west province of south Africa.

 

Armed groups attacked his shop, opened fire on him and he later died of the gunshot wounds on Friday 16 December 2022.

 

The chairman of the Somali community in North West province Mustapha Shirwa has confirmed the death of this man.

Chairman Mustapha Shirwa, has sent condolences to the deceased family, Osman his relatives and to the Somali people at large.

On the other hand, Mustapha shirwa has told that the police that they informed this crime, and case to the police & the   intelligence departments in North West region. Especially those of Rawsonville Township in North western province.

 

But he said no sudden investigations have made so far.  This means that criminals have left peacefully without any fear of factor from a serious accountabilities.

 

Since 1994, at least 300,000 Somali youth aged between, 18-40 have been illegally murdered by the local South African criminals and gangsters.

 

Somalis in South Africa are familiar for their hard work having tuck shops and different small business in South African townships, especially those slums populated black and colored people.

The lives of the Somali youth in South Africa matters, we need justice, protection and compensations from the South African Government.
