Ahmed Silanyo, the Famous leader of a great fighter pass away

Hargeisa (ANN)-The former president of Somaliland, Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud Silanyo, who was a great asset to the Somaliland community and the Somali community as a whole, pass away  this evening at his home in Hargeisa.

Ahmed Silanyo, who was a famous politician and a great leader who put a lot of effort and struggle to free his people from the military rule of Mohamed Siad Bare. His death coincided with the country’s yet-to-be-elected electionstheir results are announced and there are unverified reports saying that the party he founded twenty years ago in KULMIYE and the President he handed over to him seven years ago lost won the elections. 13 Nov 2024.

although it has nothing to do with the death of Ahmed Silanyo and the failure of the party he founded in KULMIYE the elections that was held in the country on 13 Nov 2024, if not a coincident dates.

 

The death of the leader Ahmed Silanyo, who was a fighter with a long history, has greatly touched the feelings and emotions, and it has thrown people’s hearts into sadness and diverted their attention from the results of the election that the community was waiting for, which turned into a feeling of sadnessand condolences.
