#Ethiopia Mekelle,(ANN)- A report on a massacre in Ethiopia’s northern Tigray region, which erupted in late November 2020 and a humanitarian catastrophe after Ethiopian troops, backed by Eritreans and local militias, besieged it the Tigray region was presented.

Investigative report by BBC Africa Eye has uncovered evidence of genocide in northern Ethiopia by members of the Ethiopian military. It also shows the exact location of the genocide, in which at least 15 men were killed, the report said.

Also, the report, released by BBC Africa Eye and published tonight by BBC News World Africa, states that in early March, a series of five videos appeared on social media showing armed, dressed men leading a group of men. And unarmed horn set, some shooting space, and pushing bodies surface.

Investigative report also said that the BBC confirmed that genocide occurred near Mahbere residential northern Tigray in Ethiopia, where the Ethiopian army against the forces of the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPFL).

The report also showed images of evidence, some of which showed some Ethiopian soldiers surrounding people who appeared to have been captured.

On the other hand international human rights organizations, including Amnesty International, have previously reported on genocide in Tigray, and the United States, other international and regional organizations have repeatedly warned of abuses in Tigray.

The Eritrean government has been widely accused of committing atrocities, including rape and robbery, and a called United State on the Eritrean government to withdraw its troops from Tigray, but Eritrea not answer.

But the Ethiopian government has repeatedly denied that atrocities, robberies and rapes took place in the Tigray region, and has denied several, although it later argued that it should set up a commission to investigate the alleged genocide.

Last week, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed visited Asmara to persuade Eritrean leader Asseif Afwerk, but it could not be confirmed whether Eritrean troops would withdraw from Tigray.
