Mogadishu (ANN)- The President of the Federal Republic of Somalia Hassan Sheikh Mohamud was targeted at a suicide attack.
The president is reportedly heading to the airport at the time of attack. At the time of the attack, the President was heading towards the Hirshabelle region. the area al-Shabaab is fighting the military forces of Somalia.
The attack was targeted President Hassan Sheikh was on the convoy of vehicle’s by passed nearby away from Villa Somalia at the local time 10: 32Am in 18 March 2025.
According to the press release, President Hassan Sheikh survived the attack, which caused casualties and injuries.
