Intelligence Report Predicts Election Presidential for Somalia 15 May 2022.
Mogadishu (ANN) Somalia’s presidential election is scheduled for May 15, 2022. As announced last Thursday by the bicameral electoral commission, intense competition and political tensions are already being felt in Mogadishu, with the security situation deteriorating and becoming unreliable.
However, the 16-member Presidential Election Commission from both houses of parliament has begun its work, announcing the timetable for the registration of candidates and the date set for May 15.
President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo wants to return to the seat, but there are more than two dozen candidates, including his ousted former Prime Minister, Khaire, former President Sheikh Sharif, and other politicians for the presidency, such as the president of the Somali regional state In Puntland, Said Deni
But there are already predictions for Somalia’s elections, which will determine the outcome.
The forecast was made by an intelligence agency and showed how members of both houses of parliament and their elected representatives were casting their ballots for the presidency.
It also showed the constituencies in which the presidential candidates won.
