Hargeisa (ANN)-Ambassador Abdullah Al-Naqb, Director of the United Arab Emirates Trade Office in Somaliland, today visited the Hargeisa Dialysis Center and met with the Director of Hargeisa Hospital and his team.
The Hargeisa Dialysis Center consists of state-of-the-art facilities, including state-of-the-art equipment, funded by the UAE government, and is part of a series of UAE-funded projects in Somaliland, implemented in Hargeisa, Burao and Berbera.
The UAE Trade Bureau of Somaliland, told Araweelo News Network, that Dr. Ahmed, the centre’s manager, told Ambassador Abdullah Al-Naqb that the center serves 30 people a day.
Ambassador Abdullah Al-Naqb, Director of the United Arab Emirates Trade Office in Somaliland, said: “We are delighted to see the Center functioning and supporting the people of Somaliland.”
Ambassador Abdullah Al-Naqb, pledged his government’s support to the government and people of Somaliland and will continue to support them.
On the other hand, one of the people who served at the Hargeisa Dialysis Center, who gave his name as Amin, reacted during his three years in the Center, saying, “I am happy to use this new Center, I come every week. Three days, I cannot thank the UAE government, may Allah reward you. For the support you have given us. ” He said.
